My name is Megan Martin, I was born in San Diego at Balboa Naval Medical Center. I grew up in Southern California but I got to Texas as fast as I could. I currently live in McKinney with my husband and our children. I went to school in Irvine, CA for child development and psychology. I am a CPST, child passenger safety technician. Certified through NHSTA and Safe Kids Worldwide. I was a nanny for 13 years before having children of my own. Child safety is a passion of mine. As an ISR instructor and CPST, I work with families of little ones, teaching them how to keep their children safe in and out of the pool.

I learned about ISR when my son was an infant. Drowning being the leading cause of death in children 1-4 years old, I wanted to keep him as safe as possible. My son went through ISR and completed all of his refreshers. I applied to become an instructor in 2018 and was accepted to join the program in 2019. My daughter was born in 2020 and her first year of ISR was in 2021.
